The College Participates in the Ninth Annual Festival Commemorating the Martyrdom of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).

The Dean of the college, Asst. Prof. Dr. Salah al-Din Al-Taha, participated in the ninth annual festival to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), which was held under the slogan “The Hussaini Uprising is an Extension of the Muhammadan Call.” This event was organized by the College of Sciences at Al-Nahrain University in collaboration with the Association for Specialized Studies between the Hawza and the University.
The festival was also attended by the Director General of the Department of Shrines, Holy Places, and Sunni Sanctuaries, Mr. Ali Al-Sumaidai, who represented the Sunni Endowment.
The festival featured speeches recalling the humanitarian and ethical role embodied by Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), which is an extension of the teachings of his grandfather, the Greatest Messenger, our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The speeches highlighted the meanings of love, humanity, selflessness, and bravery in the life of the Master of Martyrs of the People of Paradise.
