The Department of Fundamentals of Religion holds a scientific symposium on contemporary Iraqi scientific production
Under the patronage of the head of the Sunni Endowment Office, Professor Dr. Mishaan Al-Khazraji, and under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Salah al-Din al-Taha, the Department of Fundamentals of the Fundamentals of Religion in Baghdad held on Tuesday, 4/30/2024, the ninth scientific symposium entitled (Contemporary Iraqi Scientific Production in the Fundamentals of Religion). – Notables and Works) which witnessed an international presence, with the participation of Sheikh Dr. Abdul Hai Yusuf, Vice President of the Sudanese Scholars Association, and with Sheikh Dr. Muhammad Al-Shatti, President of the Association of Muslim Scholars in Lebanon, Sheikh Dr. Fikret Ozcelk, Professor of Jurisprudence at the University of Mardin, Turkey, and Sheikh Dr. Nawaf Takruri, Chairman of the Association of Muslim Scholars in Lebanon. Palestinian scholars.The scientific symposium was opened by the Head of the Fundamentals of Religion Department, Dr. Asif Dahham Salem, with a speech in which he explained the necessity of holding such purposeful symposiums and introducing the history of our scholars. The symposium witnessed the presence of the chief scholar of the Jurisprudence Academy in Iraq, His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Ahmed Hassan Al-Taha, who enriched the symposium with a scientific lecture centered around the history of Iraqi scholars.The symposium included a speech by the Dean, and a documentary film by a group of previous Iraqi scholars, and several topics on Iraqi scholars, including commentators, jurists, and hadith scholars.
At the conclusion of the symposium, certifications were distributed to a group of professors participating in the symposium.
